Here is a step-by-step guide to creating pinboards on Pinterest, and to adding pictures and descriptions to them.
- Go to your Pinterest profile.
- Click the “Create a board” button on the left side of the screen.
- When the new screen opens, enter “Grammar Assignment 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3” as the name.
- In the Description section, enter (copy) the information I provided on the blog.
- Ignore the rest of the spaces, and click “Create Board”, the red button, on the bottom of the screen. After this, you will see a screen that is mostly blank.
- Find the search bar at the top of the new screen; type your search terms there, just like with Google.
- Search for words that describe the actions you need. For example, type “soccer” or “running” or “reading”.
- On your phone, touch the image you want to use; on your laptop, move your pointer over the image you want to use. Then, look for the “Pin It” button.
- On the screen that opens, first, make sure the picture goes to the correct board (“Grammar Assignment 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3”); delete the description that is currently there.
- In the “description” category, add your own description and press “Pin It”. (Here is where you type your homework descriptions.)
- Finally, close the screen that opens after pressing “Pin It”. This action returns you to your search results; this will allow you to continue adding pictures and descriptions to the pinboard.
- Repeat these steps to complete each of the Pinboards in this assignment.
Hopefully this helps. I think it might be easy, but there are a lot of directions. If you need any help, please email me.
